Hi, my name is Lauren and I recently moved to Colorado from Florida to be closer to my family. I love to hike and to photograph nature so Colorado is the perfect place for me. I do have one cat of my own Turnip, who made the trip with me from Florida. She is enjoying the change as much as I am and she loves when it snows! I have been a veterinary technician for a little over 3 years and enjoy the profession because I love working with animals and I’m happy to be in the field that lets me help them while working with a team who cares as much about their welfare as I do. I have a background in animal behavior and enjoy being able to use my education in conjunction with my medical knowledge to make the environment as stress free as possible for every patient I come across.
I have always had a love for animals when I was a little girl. So when I graduated High School, I went to Prima Medical Institute in San Diego and graduated with my AA. I moved from California to Florida and then called Colorado my forever home. On my off time you can find me off-roading with my dog in my Jeep, or in Utah exploring. At my house I have a zoo; 5 dogs and a cat. I love being a vet tech because I get to help animals feel better
