Wendy Furst, DVM - Dr. Wendy Furst grew up in Phoenix, AZ and went to the University of Arizona in Phoenix. She attended CSU Veterinary School, and graduated in 1981. She has worked with Chinese Shar Peis for 30 years, ever since the first one came to Colorado.
Wendy is an avid Disney fan, loves to garden, and is a cheesecake aficionado. She has 2 cats - a 17 year old diabetic Maine Coon named Chaz, and a 3 year old orange and white trouble maker named Zeus. Wendy and her husband Rich live in Lakewood, and have a wonderful 28 year old daughter, Jane.

Our Veterinary Technician Team
You'll find an efficient, highly competent and friendly technician team at Arvada Flats. Most of these technicians have worked at Arvada Flats for a good portion of their career and have become truly an extension of the doctors at this hospital. They seek out regular continuing education and work to provide ease of conversation for owners as well as state-of-the-art anesthesia monitoring, patient care, radiology procedures, and laboratory work. They are a loving, compassionate group and both clients and their pets feel comfort in their care.
